Grayson Murray, a two-time PGA Tour winner known for his candor and resilience, has passed away at the age of 28. The news was confirmed by PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

Murray withdrew from the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday, citing a non-COVID-related illness. Sadly, he died just a day later in a vehicle accident on his way to the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Murray's death is a devastating blow to the golfing community and his many fans around the world. He was a talented player who had overcome significant challenges in his life, including battles with mental health issues.
