PSG Take Control in Second Leg

FC Barcelona secured a vital 3-2 victory over Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal matchup in Paris on Tuesday. However, the match took a dramatic turn after Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo received a controversial red card in the 29th minute for a handball inside the penalty area.

Kylian Mbappé netted the ensuing penalty to give PSG the lead, and they continued to dominate the match. Lionel Messi equalized for Barcelona in the 37th minute, but just before halftime, Neymar restored PSG's advantage with a brilliant solo goal.

After the break, PSG extended their lead through Vitinha's goal in the 51st minute. However, Barcelona fought back and leveled the score through Ousmane Dembélé in the 82nd minute and Pedri's injury-time winner.

Despite the defeat, PSG remain in contention for a place in the semifinals. The return leg will be played at the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona on March 8.
